Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is likely to give Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott another chance against Shrewsbury after they helped beat Everton
Anfield legend John Aldridge has taken aim at Manchester United - and suggested they would struggle against Liverpool's youngsters.
The likes of Curtis Jones, Neco Williams and Harvey Elliott will be hoping to be involved after starring against Everton in the previous round. "The Liverpool line-up that will take on Shrewsbury today would give the Manchester United side that lost at Anfield last weekend a run for their money and that statement highlights how far Klopp has moved his team ahead of their old rivals," he writes in the Irish Independent.
"The now-injured Marcus Rashford is the only United player who could get close to adding something to this Liverpool team and it explains why the shift in power between the two biggest clubs in English football will remain in place for a long time to come."
