Man United need to make wholesale changes to their squad this forthcoming summer, but some positions need more work than others.
This forthcoming summer's transfer window will mark the beginning of a new chapter in Manchester United's rich and colourful history.
United plan to become more proactive in the seller's market, not least because they need to remain within the boundaries of the Premier League's profitability and sustainability rules. Ineos are understood to have already earmarked sellable assets within the squad that could be sold to help balance the books.
Though several positions within United's squad are in need of maintenance, few need addressing more than the right wing. The Reds find themselves in a position where they have stockpiled players and now have six individuals vying for one position. Many United fans, understandably, argue the club should try and sell Antony ahead of next season, but that is a nigh-on impossible challenge; United are still paying his £85.5million transfer fee and potential suitors won't be queuing around the block.
Sancho, of course, returned to Borussia Dortmund on loan in January, following several months in the wilderness in M16 after a public fallout with Ten Hag in September. His United career, regardless of the manager or the side of the pitch he has played on, has never got off the ground, meaning an exit would be best for all parties, though it is possible he could leave on loan again, as opposed to on a permanent deal.
