The figure is 11% up from the previous year and beats the previous league record set by United in 2019.
MANCHESTER UNITED ON Thursday reported a Premier League record revenue figure of €744.2 million for the year ending 30 June.
During the 2022/23 campaign the men’s team finished third in the Premier League and won the League Cup, ending a six-year trophy drought. The women’s team finished second in the Women’s Super League and were runners-up in the FA Cup. The club reported long-term debt at €582.6m . The figure was given as $650m in the accounts, unchanged from the previous year, but the report said the year-on-year change in the exchange rate meant the figure in sterling was a lower amount this year compared with last.Thursday’s fiscal results come at a time when the founder of the INEOS chemicals company, British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, is reported to be close to securing a stake in the club.
