Manchester United have unveiled stunning plans to transform Carrington into a state-of-the-art training facility.
"The £50m project will see all areas of the building refurbished to deliver a world-class facility, creating a high-performance environment for players and staff."The practice was involved in redeveloping Wembley Stadium and the design of the Lusail Stadium in Qatar, which staged the 2022 World Cup final.
"Temporary adaptations will be made to the rest of the Carrington site to ensure players and staff from all our teams can continue to operate successfully next season."The redevelopment of Carrington follows the opening of the £10m women's and Academy building last summer. The Portuguese star admitted he was shocked by the lack of progress at the club after returning for his second spell at United in 2021."The training ground needed to be more modern and other things needed to change.
