A driver at large who ran over a Garda on Sunday evening in Dundrum Shopping Centre is feared to be part of a crime gang in the area.

A member of the force was struck by the vehicle at speed when the driver failed to stop and fled from the scene at 6.45pm, Dublin Live reports.He was brought to St. Vincent's Hospital and is being treated for significant soft tissue injuries to his lower leg.
