A federal judge has sentenced President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort to 73 months in prison for two conspiracy charges arising from Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russia's role in the 2016 US presidential election.
US District Judge Amy Berman Jackson said 30 of the months would run concurrently with Manafort's sentence last week in a separate case.Last week, a federal judge in Virginia sentenced the Republican political consultant to 47 months in prison - an unexpectedly lenient term - for tax and bank fraud in a separate Mueller case.
