March brings a wave of cost-of-living changes, from the new Jobseeker's Pay-Related Benefit and rising stamp prices to Netflix's fee hikes, which will impact household budgets across Ireland.

As we step into March, another round of cost of living changes is set to take effect. With the price of seemingly everything on the rise - from food to household bills - this month brings new financial shifts that could have a significant impact on your wallet.

Here's everything you need to know about how March 2025 could impact your finances - from social welfare adjustments to price hikes on essentials. An Post An Post is set to increase the prices of their stamps. This came into effect on February 27 for personal customers and March 1 for business users. The price of a national stamp has gone from €1.40 to €1.65. The international letter stamp price also increased from €2.20 to €2.65.

CEO of An Post David McRedmond said: "An Post’s priority is to provide a world-class service for the people and businesses of Ireland. To do this we need to be aligned with global postal trends that see large price increases to compensate for falling volumes due to e-substitution. We’ve worked hard to get the economics right on price for postage by introducing smarter work practices and reducing costs to keep our prices below the European benchmark average, and below the UK.
