The Scottish actor opens up about filming the controversial drama and the final season of Guilt

It was stunning, I had to look twice and double check it was him. I thought, ‘Oh yeah, that’s the photo…’ but then I thought, ‘Wait a minute, that’s David!’ It’s astonishing what they managed to do. He had a bald cap, as I think he was in the middle of filming something else which he needed his hair for, so the makeup team did the most incredible job. When you see both pictures together it’s uncanny.I’d not worked with him before, I know him socially and we run into each other.
