Mark-Paul Gosselaar to star in Saved By The Bell reboot
Mark-Paul Gosselaar is set to reprise his iconic role as Zack Morris in the upcoming reboot of Saved by the Bell.
Gosselaar had already signed on to help produce the series, and movie magazine Deadline has now reported that the actor will be returning to Bayside High for at least three episodes of the reboot. Zack was the central character of the show the first time around, and would occasionally narrate the show's events, or"freeze time" and address the camera. He was also part of Saved by the Bell: The College Years, which saw him get married to his high school sweetheart Kelly Kapowski.
While none of the other original cast members are believed to be involved, the principle role will be taken over by John Michael Higgins, whose name you might not know but whose face you certainly do. The new teen comedy will make its debut on NBC's streaming service NBCUniversal, which is due to launch in the US in April. No details have been released as to whether the show will be syndicated in Ireland.Hit play for The Architects of Business
