Irish financials extended their earlier losses in afternoon trading
Dublin stocks drooped on Tuesday, closing 0.2 per cent down at 7,887 despite the FTSE 100 rallying and other European indices edging higher.
The ISEQ was led lower by Bank of Ireland and AIB which extended their losses in afternoon trading to be down 3.8 per cent and 2.8 per cent respectively by market close. They were joined by Irish Residential Properties, which fell 2.4 per cent and Greencoat Renewables, down 1.7 per cent.
