The supermarket has followed the likes of Asda and Tesco who are also taking part in offering cheap meals for children to tackle holiday hunger
The summer holidays see many kids eating their parents out of house and home, so a number of chain restaurants and supermarkets have chipped in to offer deals where children can eat for free, or in some cases for £1.
The retailer said they’ve had ‘record demand’ for their Kids Eat Free deal, and so, are extending the offer to run throughout the whole summer holiday season until Friday, September 2.The offer normally runs for two weeks, but the extension takes this summer up to six. The offer means families can save up to £3.95 per child, with a breakfast main and drink normally costing £2.95, and lunch, consisting of a main, snack and drink usually setting families back £3.95.
