Last year the UK Government announced that it could approve more than 100 new oil and gas exploration licences as part of its latest licensing round. To ensure we have a liveable future, we must end oil and gas exploration, and drastically cut our dependence on planet-wrecking fossil fuels. The UK Government must fulfil its commitment to tackle the impacts of climate change and invest to ensure that we have an economy that is resilient to extreme weather events.
