Martin Lewis has named a new 'magic number' at which to consider fixing your energy bills as a cheaper deal has been announced for the first time since the energy price crisis exploded.
The fix would bring your prices down to 8% less than current prices on the market, fixed for one year. Martin told his listeners: "Now personally, if the predictions I say were to be right and of course we don't know if they'll definitely be right, the predictions I say could be wrong and things could change, then you'd actually want to be looking once you factor in seasonal adjustments, at a fix at 18% cheaper than current rates for it to be worth fixing and to be cheaper fixing than staying where you are right now.
