Martin Lewis has issued a warning to millions of Brits who are potentially missing out on a government bonus of up to £1,000 - and all it takes is a £1 deposit
Finance expert Martin Lewis is encouraging individuals born between September 20, 1984 and September 20, 1986 to deposit £1 into an account immediately. The financial guru is advising anyone aged between 18 and 40 to do this in order to qualify for an instant £1,000 bonus.
Martin suggests that anyone under the age of 40, or who has children over the age of 18, should put £1 in a LISA now to have the option of receiving a free £1,000 from the government. Speaking on the latest episode of his The Martin Lewis Podcast on BBC Sounds, Spotify and Apple Music, Martin said: "Let me be very plain to anybody listening, anybody who has never bought a home, is aged under 40, and this includes anyone who has children aged over 18.
