Matthijs de Ligt's staggering contract details and Ajax's asking price revealed
Matthijs de Ligt looks set to sign for Juventus this summer after being offered a staggering pay packet.
The Holland international, who has been linked with every top club in Europe over the past month, will reportedly earn £10.8million per season in Turin.Centre-back De Ligt is happy with the contract and - according to his agent Mino Raiola - ready to make the transfer happen. But the two clubs are someway off closing the deal at this moment in time due to differences over the fee.
Juventus are looking to pay a fee of around £45million for the defender plus £9million in bonuses, according to Sky Italia.Raiola has called on Ajax to accept a bid for his client, telling Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf: "Agreements have been made with Matthijs and it is up to Ajax how to deal with this."
The agent was quick to add that the centre-back would not be doing anything irrational to push through a move however, and will report to pre-season training with Ajax next Monday.
