Mattress Mack picks up his millions from Caesars after Astros bet, makes plans for next year

On Thursday, he did the easy part — except for the literal heavy lifting — of flying out to Las Vegas and picking up his cash.McIngvale put down a total of $10 million over the summer on the Astros to win the World Series. At the time, teams like the Yankees and Dodgers were considered much bigger favorites than the Astros, so McIngvale got such favorable odds that his $10 million earned him him $75 million. One of those bets was a $3 million wager at 10-to-1 odds that McIngvale placed through the Caesars Sportsbook app. McIngvale went to Caesars on Thursday night and got paid in cash in the largest win ever through a legal sportsbook in the United States.
