RTE star Maura Derrane has revealed she wouldn’t have taken over Ryan Tubridy 's radio job if it was offered to her - because she wasn’t experienced enough.

But I was so happy to be asked to host last year and then to be asked again to fill in this summer,” she told the RTE Guide.
