Owner of Coolmore Stud launched legal proceedings last month to enforce alleged ‘handshake’ deal to buy property for €15 million
Irish construction magnate Maurice Regan is pushing ahead with plans to sign a €20 million contract for the Barne Estate in Co Tipperary despite a legal action by John Magnier to force a sale to him.
The move represents a new track in an escalating row over the estate and stately home which sits on 751 acres of farmland near Clonmel.
