Wrexham and former Ireland winger James McClean is struggling to contain his frustration with the process of finding the next Ireland manager, during Euro 2024 punditry duty with RTE.

“But having said that, we need to get the management situation sorted first and foremost to give us the best opportunity, a bit of stability. As for finding a long-term replacement for Stephen Kenny, McClean said: “The thing is, we’ve got a manager in place, just give him the job and let him get on with it.
