McDonald's to introduce major changes to iconic Big Mac burger recipe by 2024

The new recipe will include 'meltier' cheese and extra Big Mac sauce on the burger

McDonald's is making some big changes to the iconic Big Mac burger recipe in the US - and it sounds absolutely mouth-watering.

The fast food giant announced the changes yesterday and said they will be rolled out across America by 2024.As well as the Big Mac burger, the recipe changes will also apply to the McDouble burger, the classic Cheeseburger, Double Cheeseburger and Hamburger. In a statement on April 17, McDonald's said: "Our chefs have been cooking up small but tasty improvements to the Big Mac sandwich, McDouble burger and our classic Cheeseburger, Double Cheeseburger and Hamburger – and we can’t wait for fans across the U.S. to get a taste."
