The Monaghan man took his record to 14-0 with an impressive win over England's Darren Tetley in London on Saturday night.Afterwards, the 26-year-old called out former undisputed super lightweight champion Josh Taylor.
He told Sky Sports: "Josh Taylor, let's have a piece of that. Maybe we can get the fight on with Josh Taylor and Sky Sports. No better platform and it would be a good one." But the Scottish fighter, who suffered his first professional defeat to American Teofimo Lopez in June, claimed McKenna is only "a sparring partner".
He tweeted: "Get that he is trying to make some noise & all. But, he’s a sparring partner. literally!"
