A group of friends in Limerick built a massive 23-foot snowman named Big Bill during a Status Orange snowstorm.

A group of friends from Elton in Limerick built a colossal snowman, likely the tallest in Ireland , amidst Sunday's Status Orange snow storm s. Servatius Antonius, 28, and his brother Paulus, 24, along with three pals, constructed the impressive 23-foot tall figure, nicknamed Big Bill, using a ladder and abundant snow. They aimed to make it large enough to sport a traffic cone for a nose and a barrel for a hat.

The brothers, who previously built an 18-foot snowman in 2018, expressed their delight at surpassing their record. Servatius, a student teacher currently on work placement at Scoil Mhuire girls' school in Cork city, shared that the group decided to build the snowman as soon as they saw Met Éireann forecasting the snow. He added that kids from the village helped out, making it a fun group activity. Servatius explained they used a ladder and a tape measure to determine Big Bill's impressive height of 23 feet
