Darren and Sharon Sterrett have raised close to £15,000 since 2020 through their dazzling Halloween and Christmas house displays
It takes four days to transform their family home into a must-see destination for thousands over Halloween and Christmas.
"We did it coming out of Covid when there was no trick or treating and people couldn't go anywhere, so we thought we would do our house up a little bit more special and we would do a washing line in the garden and clip sweetie bags to it so kids could come and take a sweet bag if they wanted. "The people were asking where was our charity bucket and that gave us the idea for Christmas to do out house up a bit more elaborate and do it for a charity and the first one was for the Children's Hospice," he said.
It entertains so many from October through to December but it can be an intense time for the family with just a few weeks break between Halloween and Christmas. But the whole family love it, with Erin and Emily now dressing up with their parents as a special extra spooky surprise for visitors.
