The annual firework show has continued to grow since its 1985 debut.
PUBLISHED 4:30 PM CDT Jul. 01, 2022DALLAS — Expect the nationally recognized Addison Kaboom Town to bring in around half a million guests on Sunday.In the last ten years, Chad Stanley has had a hand in what each Fourth of July firework show looks like. Stanley says the year-long preparations include, “choreography, the music, and the firing of the show.”
“I’ve always just loved fireworks. We were always the kids that popped fireworks on days that weren’t the fourth,” Stanley said. “We’re excited to be going back up to big crowds, again. This year, we’re bringing everybody together to celebrate Independence Day,” Jasmine Lee, Addison’s director of special events, said.
