A top cash prize of $37.9 million was on offer on Friday but did anyone take home the big one?
The winning Mega Millions numbers for Friday were 30, 32, 42, 46, and 48, and the Mega Ball number was 15 while the Megaplier was 2X, according to the Mega Millions website.
However, there was one big winner, with a ticket sold in California matching the five white balls to win $1 million. Had they purchased the Megaplier for an extra $1, they would have doubled their money and earned a $2 million prize. There were 209 tickets that matched four white balls to win $500, 45 of whom doubled their winnings with the Megaplier.
Mega Millions lottery tickets are sold at a 7-Eleven store in the Loop on January 22, 2021 in Chicago, Illinois. There was a prize of $53 Million up for grabs on Friday 12 November 2021.In total, the November 12 drawing produced over 382,000 winning tickets of at least $2.Although there was no winner this time of the top prize, there have now been some big Mega Millions winners in 2021.
