The Duke and Duchess of Sussex first went public with their relationship at the the Invictus Games in 2017 where Meghan gave a very telling message about the future of their romance.
The Invictus Games has always been a special event for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as, not only is it for a cause close to their hearts, but it is also the place where the couple first went public with their relationship.
Just under a year before they tied the knot, the couple made their first-ever official appearance together at the Games in the Canadian city where Meghan was filming in the hit legal series Suits at the time. It was the $185 shirt that got the world talking at the time after it emerged that the top was called the 'husband' shirt.
During their first public appearance, the happy couple held hands as they walked towards the court while smiling and exchanging small talk with one another. Last year, the duke and duchess visited Dusseldorf for an official launch event for the contest where they met officials and potential competitors along with members of the athletes' friends and family.
