Meghan Markle gave a subtle nod to Princess Diana with her outfit choice as she stepped out at the Invictus Games.
She beamed from ear to ear as she rocked the white two-piece with a simple black vest underneath. The Suits star teamed her Chanel-inspired look with a pair of £840 Chanel Goatskin and Grosgrain sling-back flats in beige and black. Speaking to Harper's Bazaar in 2018, etiquette expert William Hanson said: "It’s a very English thing to dress a young boy in shorts. Trousers are for older boys and men, whereas shorts on young boys is one of those silent class markers that we have in England. Although times are changing, a pair of trousers on a young boy is considered quite middle class - quite suburban. And no self-respecting aristo or royal would want to be considered suburban.
