Prince Harry will soon be returning to London to celebrate the Invictus Games, but Meghan Markle has decided not to join her husband and some people aren't happy
Meghan Markle will not be joining Prince Harry when he returns to the UK next week and one royal expert has slammed her "sad" decision.
Royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths believes Harry will be "so lonely" without his wife and said the decision is "so sad". Speaking to GB News, she added: "That's where his parents got married. It's going to be a very sombre and senior event." Princess Diana and the then-Prince Charles married in 1981, but later split in 1992 and finalised their divorce in 1996. Earlier this week, it was confirmed Meghan will not be joining Harry in the UK after months of speculation. Royal correspondent Chris Ship confirmed the news on X, formerly known as Twitter. He said: "Additional confirmation this morning that Meghan will not be joining Harry for the Invictus Anniversary service at @StPaulsLondon in London. But the Duchess of Sussex will join the Duke for an Invictus-inspired visit to Nigeria immediately after Harry leaves the UK.
