Actress and Duchess Meghan Markle has rebranded her lifestyle venture, leaving behind the American Riviera Orchard name for a fresh start as 'As Ever'. The launch coincides with the premiere of her Netflix series 'With Love, Meghan', and her new brand website features a heartwarming image of Meghan walking hand-in-hand with her daughter, Lilibet.
Meghan Markle has offered another glimpse of her daughter, Princess Lilibet, as she unveils her latest business venture following a significant rebranding. The Duchess of Sussex announced on Instagram that she's bidding farewell to the American Riviera Orchard moniker and embracing a fresh identity - As Ever . The launch coincides with the release of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, set to premiere on the streaming giant in a fortnight. A new website for As Ever has also been unveiled.
A captivating image on the new site shows Meghan strolling hand-in-hand with three year-old Lilibet across a verdant field fringed by palm trees, with the Pacific Ocean forming a picturesque backdrop. Meghan is seen in a white dress, while Lilibet, sporting long red hair inherited from dad Prince Harry, walks alongside her. The revamped website, akin to its predecessor, includes a subscription option for updates and features the tagline 'Save Your Seat At The Table'. Its logo depicts a palm tree flanked by two hummingbirds. Historically, Meghan and Harry have shielded both Lilibet and their older son, Prince Archie, from public scrutiny. However, recent weeks have seen Meghan sharing glimpses of her children via her newly-launched Instagram account. Just last week, she posted a charming reel of them assisting her in making heart-shaped treats for Valentine's Day. Despite this, the Sussexes remain committed to safeguarding their children's privacy, refraining from revealing their faces. Lilibet has made her online debut, hot on the heels of Meghan's Instagram reveal, captured by Harry, where she announced her latest venture. Donning a laid-back white shirt, Meghan spills the beans: 'Cats out of the bag, I'm shocked we've kept it a secret for so long...' She shared her initial thoughts about a brand name, saying, 'Last year, I thought you know what, American Riviera, that sounds like such a great name, it's my neighbourhood its a name for Santa Barbara. But it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area. Then Netflix came on, not just as my partner in the show but as my partner in business. It was huge.' She then revealed the chosen name for her new brand, 'So I thought about it, and I've been waiting for a moment to share a name that I had secured in 2022, and this is the moment, and it's called As Ever.' Meghan, who once curated the popular lifestyle blog The Tig before shutting it down ahead of her Royal wedding, is no newbie to dishing out lifestyle advice. In what seemed like a veiled jab at the Royal family, following her previous comments about being restricted while part of 'The Firm', she added: 'I've always loved cooking, crafting and gardening. This is what I do and I haven't been able to share it with you in the same way for the past few years but now I can.' Meghan Markle made a sweet gesture last year when she launched American Riviera Orchard by sending out jam samples to her celebrity friends, who then shared their delight on Instagram. She recently teased her As Ever products, saying: 'Of course there will be fruit preserve. I think we're are all clear at this point that jam is my jam. There's so many more products that I loved use in my home. It's time to share it with you. So I can't wait for you guys to see it. Thanks guys.' In the caption of a promotional video, Meghan expressed her excitement: 'Some of you may have heard whispers about what I've been creating. In two weeks, my series on @netflix launches - but there's something else I've been working on. I'm thrilled to introduce you to As Ever - a brand that I created and have poured my heart into.' She elaborated on the meaning behind 'As ever', linking it to her past work on The Tig: ''As ever' means 'as it's always been' or some even say 'in the same way as always'. If you've followed along since my days of creating The Tig, you'll know this couldn't be truer for me. This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish - food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the everyday.' Meghan promised to keep fans updated as the launch approaches: 'I will keep sharing behind the scenes tidbits with you here as we ramp up to launch, and I can't wait for you to get your hands on everything we've been creating. Sending lots of love...As ever, Meghan.'
