Melissa McCarthy made a statement in a tulle mint green gown and matching blazer at the Center Theatre Group's annual gala in Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday.
The two-time Oscar nominee was selected to honor Sir Matthew Bourne, one of the most popular and successful choreographer and directors in the United Kingdom, during the reception. Her latest appearance comes after defending her friend Meghan Markle against criticism of her American Riviera Orchard brand.
She told Page Six: 'I always think, how inspiring. I’ve never once been threatened by someone who is amazing. I just think how inspiring. It’s really on the people throwing the hate'. The Duchess Of Sussex had celebrated her milestone birthday by announcing a new initiative to help women back into work.
'Over 2 million women in the US alone and tens of millions around the world have lost their jobs due to Covid.
