Memorial Day 2022 events

Several Memorial Day events are set for Monday across Western Washington.

Service of RemembranceA brief memorial service, including the Washington State Guard, members of the NW Junior Drum and Pipe Band, and Chaplain Linda Haptonstall of the King County Sheriff’s Office., War Memorial Park, 7201 Sixth Avenue and MacArthur Street.

Program includes the All-City Junior ROTC Color Guard, 133rd Band from Washington National Guard and keynote speaker, Deputy Mayor Catherine Ushka.
