The identifications of the men were released after arrests were made in their deaths earlier this week.
Frankie Dean Thomas Jr., 37, Fayetteville; and Eddie Shaw, 54, Chambersburg, were pronounced dead Feb. 23 at the scene of a house fire on the 100 block of Neil Road, Coroner Charley Hall confirmed Thursday with PennLive.were arrested around 8 a.m. Tuesday on charges of homicide and related offenses, according to U.S. Marshals, the agency that made the arrests. Cordaryl Burns was taken into custody in Detroit, Michigan; and Larry Burns was arrested in Lumberton, North Carolina.
Cumberland County District Attorney Sean McCormack, declining to provide additional details on the case Tuesday, said the court filings in the double homicide are sealed. It is unclear what relationship the suspects may have had with the victims, or what motive investigators may have identified.The two-story wood frame home at 132 Neil Road, which neighbors said was one of the original farmhouses in this section of Southampton Township, was still standing after the flames were extinguished, but it was clear that there was heavy fire damage throughout the interior.
