The 'fun-filled' event is to raise vital funds for homelessness charity Shelter

Based on the hit LL Cool J TV series, contestants will take to the stage at Camp and Furnace to try and successfully mime a variety of songs from the likes of Rihanna and Tina Turner. The event is to raise vital funds for the housing and homelessness charity, Shelter.

Funds raised from the Lip Sync Battle will help Shelter’s frontline services to continue providing free and expert help to anyone facing homelessness in Merseyside and beyond. Pauline Cox, Regional Community Fundraiser for Shelter Merseyside, said: “Lip sync battle is set to be a spectacular evening of entertainment in support of Shelter. By coming along to the event, the community will be helping Shelter to be there for people whose lives are on the line.

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who is taking part in the lip sync battle, and to Camp on Furnace for providing the venue, on what promises to be a fun-filled, showbiz night.” Doors open at 7pm with the performance starting at 8pm. Tickets cost £10 and can be purchased here.
