It's a mixed bag this week with spells of sunshine and unsettled weather with showers across the country - however Met Eireann predicts things will become drier and more settled very soon
Met Eireann have pinpointed a welcome change in the weather this week as after almost a month of rain and chilly temperatures, things will become more settled.
Looking ahead to next week in their extended range forecast, Met Eireann say that things will be more settled as temperatures rise to more seasonal values thanks to high pressure. Tuesday 23rd July Mainly dry with some sunshine on Tuesday. Highest temperatures 18 to 22 degrees as light northwesterly winds become variable in direction. Mainly dry Tuesday night, cloud will increase from the west overnight, bringing light rain and drizzle to Atlantic coasts by dawn. Lowest temperatures 9 to 14 degrees in a light variable breeze.
