It will be a largely dry week on the weather front, but it looks like February is off to a cold start as temperatures will range drop as low as -3 over the coming nights

Today will see heavy rain clear and highs of 7 to 10 degrees. Frost and ice could form in places overnight. Lowest temperatures of -1 to +3 degrees with some frost and ice forming in light to moderate southwest breezes."The forecast says: "Wednesday will be mainly dry with good spells of sunshine and just a few light showers possible near western and northwestern coasts.

Thursday will be another dry day but some counties may get hit with patchy rain. There will be some frost and ice patches due to temperatures dipping to -2 degrees overnight.
