The warm weather is set to come to an end this week as more usual autumnal conditions kick in.Today, Met Eireann issued a status yellow

Wednesday will be a largely dry day in the west and north with sunny spells developing. Cloudier elsewhere with outbreaks of rain, gradually clearing most places by the early afternoon.

Rain and drizzle will be slow to clear in south Munster and south Leinster, however, with patchy oubreaks persisting here into the evening. Feeling much cooler than recently with afternoon highs of 11 to 14 degrees in mostly light to moderate northerly breezes.A mostly dry and chilly night with long clear spells. Cloudier though near southern coasts with the odd spot of drizzle possible.

Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees generally, dropping a little lower locally in parts of the midlands. Light variable breezes will allow some pockets of mist and fog to develop.A largely dry day with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. Cloudiest in the northwest through much of the day with a little light rain or drizzle near coasts. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in light southwesterly or variable breezes, fresher near northwestern coasts.

Some clear spells further north through patchy light rain will affect the northwest. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees.Outbreaks of rain will affect parts of Munster and south Leinster through much of the day. Ulster and Connacht will be mostly dry and sunny with some showers near coasts. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees generally in moderate northwest winds, fresher near exposed coasts. Becoming mostly dry and clear for the night with showers mainly just affecting northwestern coasts. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees.
