The national forecaster is predicting temperatures of 17C on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week.
Ireland is set to bask in warmer than usual weather in the coming days as high pressure moves in across the country.A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Largely cloudy at first tomorrow, with any lingering showers clearing away quickly. Through the morning and afternoon, good sunny spells will develop in most areas. Highest temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees, mildest generally in western and central areas, in light to moderate southeasterly breezes.
"Dry and sunny for much of Tuesday but during the afternoon, a few light showers will break out. Highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees in mostly moderate southeasterly breezes. "A mild, dry and sunny day on Thursday with light breezes. Highest temperatures again ranging from 13 to 17 degrees."
