While there will be some sunny spells on Monday, Tuesday onwards will see rain, with possible localised flooding, before showers die out on Thursday night giving way to frost and icy patches
Temperatures are set to plummet to -2C next week, with Met Éireann forecasting a bout of rain, blustery winds and flooding over the coming days.

Some patches of mist also. Breezy with moderate to fresh southwest winds and lowest temperatures of 6C to 9C. Tuesday Tuesday will be cloudy with rain becoming persistent in the west and spreading eastwards to all areas. It will become quite windy also with fresh to strong, gusty southerly winds.
On Wednesday night, rain will clear and scattered showers will follow from the west as winds becoming moderate to fresh northwesterly. Lowest temperatures of 1C to 5C.
