Time to break out the brolly again
Ireland has basked in the winter sunshine over the past number of days as temperatures remained rather mild thanks to foehn winds.
Looking ahead to Saturday, they said: “Outdoor plans for Saturday? Keep an eye on the weather forecasts, it is looking rather wet and windy at present. Could be a day for the couch or the high stool.” Tonight, showers will affect many coastal counties around the country. It will be mainly dry further inland, with perhaps some patches of mist or fog and a touch of grass frost. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees with light breezes.
