National forecaster Met Eireann predicts plenty of sunshine for the remainder of the week but there will be some patchy drizzle and rainfall in some places too
Met Eireann says weather conditions will be "drier than average with increasing amounts of sunshine" in a positive summer update.
In this week's forecast, the national weather agency expects more sunshine across the country. While there will be some patchy rainfall, it is predicted to be drier than average. The best of the sunshine is likely across the north and east of the country.
