Met Éireann has issued a weather warning for three counties

Met Éireann said southwesterly winds tonight will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65km/h and gusts of 80 to 100km/h, highest in coastal areas.The warning will expire at 8am on Wednesday morning.

Tuesday will bring a mix of cloud and bright spells with scattered blustery showers. Some of the showers throughout the day will be heavy and there will be a risk of thundery downpours in some areas.
