There is a Status Yellow rain warning for Cork, which is valid from 5PM on Sunday, 13 October until 11PM that same day.A Status Yellow rain warning has also been confirmed for Waterford, which will remain in place from 6PM on Sunday, 13 October until 2AM on Monday, 14 October.Here is your Met Eireann weather forecast for the week ahead:
Sunday, 13 October Sunday will begin largely dry with hazy sunny spells. However, cloud will gradually thicken with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing. During the evening, persistent and heavy rain will affect southern counties with spot flooding. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees over the northern half of the country, 10 to 14 degrees further south, all in a light to moderate southeasterly breeze.
