It looks like Sunday is going to be absolutely abysmal as heavy rain spreads across the country, with both Status Orange and Status Yellow warnings being issued
Multiple weather warnings have been issued for several counties across Ireland on Sunday as heavy and persistent rain moves in across the country.
There will be two Status Orange alerts and two Yellow warnings across most areas in the country as Ireland is set for a washout tomorrow . This is valid from 8am until 6pm on Sunday.
A separate Status Orange alert for Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford is valid between 1pm on Sunday and midnight on Monday . Meanwhile a Status Yellow rain and wind warning has been issued for the whole of Munster as the forecaster warns of "heavy rain accompanied by strong and gusty winds." People in these areas should also be wary of localised flooding, difficult travelling conditions, travel delays and fallen branches or trees.
