Rain on the way!
Wet and windy conditions spreading eastwards with rain and drizzle becoming widespread this afternoon. The rain will be heaviest and most persistent across Atlantic counties with spot flooding possible. Highest temperatures of 16 to 18 degrees with southerly winds increasing fresh to strong and gusty.Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will continue tonight, heavy in places, but some drier intervals will occur also.
Scattered heavy showers with a chance of isolated thunderstorms, tomorrow Friday, mainly affecting the western half of the country during the morning and early afternoon. Drier with sunny spells developing in the east. Warm and humid, with highest temperatures of 18 to 23 degrees, with the best of the sunshine and temperatures over the northern half of the country. Moderate to fresh and gusty southeast winds.
