Ireland will see a big improvement in weather this week as a period of miserable conditions comes to a halt.
"There'll be some bright or sunny spells at times, however, in general there'll be a good deal of cloud around, with some mostly weak weather fronts bringing a little rain and drizzle at times. As for this weekend, Saturday will see plenty of rain and drizzle, especially over the southern half of the country.It will be cloudy and misty at night, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, as well as some hill and coastal fog. A few heavier bursts are likely, mainly in the southwest.
