After two weekends of sun and blue skies across the region, the Met Office has now issuedtwo weather warnings for Northern Ireland.
"Many places missing the worst, but where thunderstorms occur, they could bring travel disruption and surface water flooding," the Met Office added.Read more: Investigation launched after man dies when car enters water at Donegal pier The first weather warning, will mostly affect Co Derry, Co Fermanagh and Co Tyrone and is in place from 1pm today, May 19, through to 9pm this evening.
A spokesperson said: "Areas of rain, perhaps heavy, are likely to develop quite early on Tuesday, probably breaking down into slow-moving heavy showers and thunderstorms during the late-morning and the afternoon.
