There is still some uncertainty

Snow could fall across some parts of the UK next week. It comes as the Met Office has released its forecast for the next few days and say there is a potential for some snow.

Birmingham Live reports the Met Office has hinted at snowfall between February 6 and 15. They said: "A small chance of very cold conditions and snow showers moving in from the east."The Met Office continued in its outlook: "However, most likely is a resumption of wetter, windier and milder weather from the west after a few days of cold conditions." The warning for the snow comes after a bitingly cold spell in the Midlands.

"This period is likely to be characterised by changeable weather, with unsettled and windy conditions, especially in the northwest," the forecasters said. "The best of the settled conditions in the east and southeast." In its outlook, the Met Office forecasters then added: "Temperatures likely average or slightly milder than average, with a chance of short-lived colder spells.
