The Met Office has responded
The Met Office has criticised claims that the Beast from the East is coming back, confirming that there is no snow forecast for the UK. Forecasters told The Mirror that the weather for the next week is not coming from the East.
Met Office meteorologist Diane Stroud told the Mirror: "The weather is firmly from the south and west for the rest of the week."There is no Beast from the East." The forecast comes as the year 2022 was declared officially the warmest year ever for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, since records began in 1884.
