It's about to get VERY cold
Met Office forecasters have issued snow warnings for huge swathes of the UK and warning that up to 10cm of the white stuff could fall in some areas.
The snow, combined with strong northerly winds and blizzard conditions, could cause travel chaos, especially in Scotland, who are expected to get the main brunt of the snow, reports Mirror Online. The Met Office said: "Showers will fall as snow to low levels on Wednesday. The yellow snow weather warning is in place on Wednesday and covers Central, Tayside & Fife, Grampian, Highlands & Eilean Siar and Orkney & Shetland.
Weather watchers say that the first spell of snow, expected to hit Scotland first, is down to low pressure originating in Norway, which will hit the UK. This will result in plunging temperatures and snow.
