A massive heatwave is set to hit Europe this week British families heading to Spain, Portugal and Morocco this week have been warned to brace themselves for a heatwave with highs of up to 46C. The Met Office have said the peak of the summer heat would arrive on Wednesday, with Madrid reaching highs of 39C, Seville peaking at 43C and Lisbon at 37C. Meanwhile, weather in Marrakesh will go even further with weather on the same day reaching highs of 46C.
